WrestleMania 2023: Match card, how to watch, start times

in the courtroom We found out The main match at WrestleMania 39 will be WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defending his titles against Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes. As we head down the road to WrestleMania, more and more matches are being added to the card. Some of them look exciting – others are more baffling.

Let’s take the confusing first. On Monday, it was announced that “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, arguably the promotion’s second-biggest star, will be taking on…Omos? It’s an odd use of Lesnar, but at least we’ll get an amazing F5 out of it.

Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship rivalries have been announced, both of which are much easier to promote. SmackDown Champion Charlotte Flair will defend her gold medal against Rhea Ripley, while Raw’s Asuka will challenge Bianca Belair for her title.

These are the only bouts officially scheduled for the show to date. Expect a conditional match between Edge and Finn Balor to finally cap off the Edge vs. Judgment Day storyline that began at last year’s WrestleMania, as well as the long-awaited showdown between Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik. Logan Paul vs. Seth Rollins is also official.

Then there is the question of what to do with Sami Zayn. It looks like a tag team bout pitting Zayn and Frenkie Kevin Owens against The Usos is the most likely.

Match card so far

WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes, SmackDown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley, Raw Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka, Brock Lesnar vs. Omus.

How to watch WrestleMania 39: Peacock, WWE Network, Binge

As you probably know by now, Peacock is the new home of WWE’s pay-per-view. The WWE Network has its core moved to NBC’s Peacock Broadcasting Service, and this is where you’ll go to watch the Royal Rumble 2023. Peacock has three tiers: Free, Premium, and Premium Plus. To watch WWE content, you will need a Premium subscription. The good news is that it will cost you $5 a month, which is less than $10 for the WWE Network.

Just like the WWE Network that was absorbed by Peacock in the US migrated to Foxtel’s Binge streaming service in Australia, so Aussies will need to sign up there to watch WrestleMania. If you’re in the UK, you’ll be watching Royal Rumble 2023 on the WWE Network as usual.

WrestleMania start times

WrestleMania 2023 takes place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 1-2. For those without direct tickets, it starts at 5pm PT / 8pm ET on both days. Wrestling fans across the pond will have to stay up late, as the show kicks off on both nights at 1am UK time. In Australia, WrestleMania begins at 10am AEST on Sundays and Mondays.
