Dollar Shaving Club

One of the original razor subscription services, famous for its viral 2012 video, offers Dollar Shave Club razors Three shaving options For an everyday shave: 2 blades, 4 blades and 6 blades. All under $9 per month for replacement blades and a one-time handle cost.

The Dollar Shave brand began as simply a subscription brand of razors and has now expanded to include several lines of men’s grooming products, including skin care, hair care, fragrance, deodorant, shaving, and oral care.

For your first order, the Dollar Shave Club urges you to get Starter Pack, which includes two replacement cartridge refills, a handle and shaving butter for $5. After two weeks, you’ll automatically get a restocking shipment of two Razor Blades for $20 (or more if you add additional products). You can customize each of your Dollar Shave kit and restock shipments to also include body wash, face wash, shampoo, aftershave, toothpaste, and toothbrush.

Although the Dollar Shave brand is aimed at men, I’ve bought and used Dollar Shave Club razors in the past and have had success with ingrown hairs on my legs and underarms.

Harry

Harry’s focuses on simplicity, elegance, and quality craftsmanship for its grooming and personal care products. There are only two kinds of handles to choose for our men’s shavers, and one kind of cartridge for the shaver. that it Winston handle It is metal with a non-slip rubber grip for $20. For $9, you can get Trumanwhich has an all-over rubber coating and comes in orange, navy, and green.

Like the Dollar Shave Club, Harry’s has the basics of shaving Starter Pack For $5 it comes with one razor cartridge and shaving gel. With a Harry’s shave club subscription, you get eight new cartridges for $16 (plus shaving gel for an additional $6), every two, three, or five months, depending on how often you shave.

In addition to the razors, Harry’s also sells face wash, aftershave balm, soap, and other body care essentials.

Note: I have also used harry razors with good shaving results. If you really want a women’s razor for a close shave, harry owns a brand called flamingo They sell, but they don’t offer subscription boxes. The Flamingo Razor features an ergonomic handle and rubber grip for easy shaving.

Bailey

Billy’s ambition as a barber club is to provide quality women’s razors and body care products that don’t cost more than men’s. Women’s personal care and shaving products are often subject to “tax pinkWhich means they cost more simply because they are marketed to women.

The brand only sells one style of razor, and it’s available on their Instagram Seven colours. It has five blades and a strip of charcoal soap around the blades to help the razor glide easily for a comfortable shave.

Billie’s $10 starter kit includes a handle, two cartridges, and a magnetic holder for storing the shaver in the bathroom. The company then sends you four replacement cartridges per month (or whatever frequency you choose to get the Blade refill), which also costs $10. Bailey also sells body lotion, body lotion, and shaving cream.

What I especially love about this company is that it celebrates and normalizes women’s body hair, whether you choose to shave or not, with its Project Body Hair campaign. Anyone can submit a picture of their body hair, and you can see pictures from others who have contributed. In a society that often demonizes any kind of physical flaw on women, this approach is honestly refreshing.

bevel

Coarse facial hair can be difficult to shave, but curly or frizzy hair is even harder. Bevel The Grooming Kit was designed with men of color in mind to meet their specific skin and grooming needs.

the shaving tools Mimic what you’d see in a barber shop with shaving brush, cuticle oil, shaving cream and after shave balm. All of these skin products contain moisturizing oils to prevent bumps, razor burn, and ingrown hairs on your face and neck.

supply

For men who like straight razor shaves, or who consider themselves a little cuddly, there’s the Razor Supply. This sleek single edge razor is made of aerospace-grade stainless steel and uses injector-style blades that are easy to change. Its unique design helps it stand out from the typical safety razor. Oh, and this high-quality blade has a 100-year warranty.

Why yes, of course there is a file Starter group. Includes a razor handle with three months’ supply of blades, a shaving brush, shaving cream, and aftershave for $99. just because razorwhich is $59, and New blades $6 for eight blades—which the company says will last for months.

Like the Bevel, Supply’s single edge razor is designed to reduce skin irritation, razor bumps, ingrown hairs, and razor burn. Its unique, high-quality design helps it stand out from the typical safety razor.

Yes, those prices are steep, but Supply offers you a 100-day trial. If you don’t like it after trying it, you can get your money back.

The show sells some extras, too. For $39, you can get a beautiful, though superfluous, product. leather bag.

These prices are already competitive with Amazon, at least for some products, and not all Gillette refills on Amazon offer Subscribe and Save. If you really want to “set it and forget it” with razor blades, the Gillette On Demand isn’t a bad deal.
