America’s Got Talent airs in the US (new episodes air Wednesday)

America’s Got Talent returns for its 18th season, with a new group of aspiring performers looking to walk away with a fabulous $1 million prize pool along with their own show in Las Vegas.

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara and model Heidi Klum are back to give their opinions on a new batch of acts, along with veteran AGT judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel, with Terry Crews also returning as host.

This season’s nominees hope to replicate the success of Lebanese dance troupe Al Mayass, which beat out strong competition from pole dance actress Christy Cellars and country singer Drake Milligan to win Season 17.

As with seasons past, judges and crew each have one opportunity to use a golden buzzer during auditions, which automatically prompts one of the live performances at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. However, the S18 offers an additional golden whistle that allows viewers to send their favorite hope through it.

Tips for streaming America’s Got Talent 2023 with a VPN

With four variables in play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider, and VPN — experience and success can vary. If you don’t see your desired location as ExpressVPN’s default, try using the “Search for a city or country” option. If you’re having trouble watching after turning on the VPN and setting it to the correct viewing region, there are a couple of things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is in the correct display area. If not, you may need to change the physical address registered to your account. Second, some smart TVs — such as Roku — don’t have VPN apps that you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll have to install a VPN on your router or mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location. We recommend getting helpful instructions on their main site to quickly install the VPN on your router. In some cases with Smart TV services, after installing a network application, you will be prompted to verify a digital code or click on a link sent to your email address on file with your Smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, as both devices will appear to be in the correct location. And remember, browsers can often give up a site despite using a VPN, so make sure you use the privacy browser first to log into your services. We usually recommend brave.
