On Friday, Apple Arcade was released Silly Hunting EXa remake of the 2013 Apple Design Award winning game Silly catch. If you subscribe to Apple Arcade ($5, £5, or $8 per month), you can play this game at no extra charge, and without ads or in-app purchases (hence the Apple version has a different name than the original on the App Store).
The original game was developed by the now defunct game studio flambeerApple said this game is a complete rewrite of the original game that has been revamped in collaboration with Apple KO_OP.
Ridiculous Fishing EX follows the same story as the original as it follows fisherman Billy as he escapes from his uncertain past by catching fish. But the method of catching fish is a bit unconventional.

You guide your fishing line across the ocean as you try to reach the lowest depth. When you catch a fish and start reeling it, you have to try to catch as many other fish as possible.
After a fish breaches the surface, things take a frivolous turn. Fish are thrown in the air, and you have to shoot them from the sky in order to catch them.
You can also buy upgrades, such as a saw hook that slices fish as they descend and a toaster oven that electrocutes the first fish you catch.
There is also an in-game encyclopedia, called Fishopedia, that shows the fish you’ve caught and provides a humorous description of them. For example, the eel entry reads, “Basically just a snake.” I’m no biologist, but I’m pretty sure it’s true.
