Hulu Full of great horror titles. Before we get into our list of the absolute best streaming service options, let’s cover some worthwhile alternatives.
Hulu is the home of the Swedish vampire thriller Let the Right One In (2008) and the body horror film Crimes of the Future (2022). There’s also Shadow in the Cloud (2020), the Rebecca Hall-led ghost story The Night House and the sinful romance Fresh (2022). Finally, you should check out Haunt (2019), Titane (2021), Censor (2021), and The Lodge (2019).

Book your seat for this surreal psychological horror film about the breakup of a talented ballerina. Natalie Portman’s character, Nina, feels pressure to embody not only the innocent and elegant white swan but also the sensual and dark black swan for the lead role in a production of Swan Lake. But she doesn’t fit the mold of a recent swan like newcomer Lily (Mila Kunis). The movie follows her obsessive search for perfection.
Sundance Institute
Brandon Cronenberg (son of horror film director David) wrote and directed this movie on possession. The black film follows a killer (Andrea Riseborough) who takes over the bodies of strangers to carry out his goals. When a mission goes awry, she gets kicked out of the pilot’s seat. If you love everything sci-fi and horror, dare you to watch this one.

A teenage girl is brutally bullied at a local pool and then her three tormentors are kidnapped by a stranger. This fantastic Spanish-language film is based on a short film and stars Laura Galán.
IFC Films
This Finn creature movie is taken straight from your feathered nightmares. The film introduces Tinja, a 12-year-old girl who discovers a strange egg that hatches into a monstrous bird. The terrible creature contrasts dramatically with her family’s expectations of perfection. So it’s a bit like the damned version of ET. Well, maybe not. You can watch and come to your own conclusions.

Although it’s not a full-fledged horror movie, Thelma is a solid supernatural movie that deserves a spot on this best of list. A young woman begins college and grows close to a fellow student. It soon becomes apparent that she has unwieldy powers. This amazing and heartwarming Norwegian coming-of-age movie is a must-see.
Hulu
If you consider the incredibly capable invisible killing machines scary, you might see some scenes in them victim through your fingers. This addition to the Predator franchise takes place in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago and centers on a young warrior named Naru. Watch this story for a compelling underdog story about a determined human battling against a powerful alien.
