Apple support He notes that some of his first-party apps, such as Notes, FaceTime, and Voice Memos, can be deleted from the iPhone. However, this must be done carefully, as this may adversely affect the device. To remove an app from an iPhone or iPad, users simply need to:
1. Hold down the relevant app icon on the home screen until the ‘Remove app’ message appears.
2. Select either “Delete App” or “Remove from Home Screen”.
3. Confirm your decision.
This can also be done through the App Library. If you’re not necessarily looking to completely remove the app, though, the iCloud It provides an easy way to remove the data stored by a particular application. Here’s how to do it:
From the main settings of the iCloud-enabled iPhone, select the Apple ID function, iCloud, Media and purchases.
From the iCloud menu, select Manage Storage, then scroll through the different installed apps. Each will display the file size of the data stored in iCloud.
The Delete Documents and Data button can be used to remove that data. Note, however, that these sizes can be rather small, and that this functionality is mainly for first-party apps.
