If you can’t toggle your iPhone’s settings, including screen rotation, there is a way you can reset all your iPhone settings to their defaults. This is one step removed from a factory reset. You won’t lose your saved files or logins but your saved preferences like alerts or Wi-Fi connections will need to be recreated. It’s annoying, but it’s the best option if you have no other way to properly access your settings.
Open the Settings app.
Select General Settings.
Select Reset.
Select Reset all settings.
Enter your iPhone’s PIN to confirm the reset.
Your iPhone will restart, and once it’s back on, all your settings, including the screen rotation setting, should be back to their defaults. If your iPhone is still bricked, you can follow these same steps, but tap Erase All Content and Settings in the Reset menu to reset your phone to factory settings. Just remember that you will lose all your saved files and settings if you do this, which might be a bit excessive for a stuck screen.
